SENATOR PEARCE asked Senator Leman, who amended SB 35 in a previous                                                             
committee, if he would entertain changing the bill to maintain the                                                              
2005 sunset date as requested by the auditors.  She noted five                                                                  
years would be consistent with the Board's last extension.                                                                      
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR LEMAN stated he preferred to extend the Board for four                                                                  
years to maintain the policy toward extensions.                                                                                 
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR PEARCE moved to calendar SB 35.  There being no objection,                                                              
the motion carried.
